Business Marketing
By; Demetrius Edwards

Business marketing is not just any simple thing that people may think that it is. Business marketing is the practice of individuals, or organizations, including commercial businesses, governments and institutions, facilitating the sale of their products or services to other companies or organizations that in turn resell them. Use them as components in products or services they offer, or use them to support their operations. Also known as industrial marketing, business marketing is also called business-to-business marketing.

When entering business marketing you have to be ready for one of the most important things of them all and that is consuming a strategy. Your marketing strategy is the single biggest factor which determines the success or failure of your company. It doesn’t matter if you run a multi-million dollar company, if you do not come up with a proper business marketing strategy then you go the same way of many other who suffered from not using this method. Your strategy should effect every aspect of how you run the company. It is the heart and soul of a successful business. Being a business man/woman it is also important to build a relationship between your employees and customers.

If you’re dedicated on building a successful business then another thing that follows up is building an organization that thrives upon strong relationships with your customers and employees, but that can be done in no time. All you have to have is an open mind because with out a sense of humor you will not be able to build this type of bond. Once you start to know both your customers and employees on a regular and you can crack jokes with them, tell them your life experiences, or to just have someone to talk to then you no you’ve got them right were you want them. If you think that you don’t have to do this because you are at a higher power and that you’ll become rich in the next couple of years your wrong. Getting the instant wealth is not promised nor can you just sit back and watch the money roll in. Entrepreneurs still have to still have to implement the strategy in the company and if your thinking about success then they’ll also have to build bond between their employees and customers. With also building this bond there’s another step to help keep customers interested and that is consuming a guide.

The business guide is sort of like the business strategy and that’s because you are nearly imputing everything from your strategy. The guide has different types of ideas you can come up for the company and the customers. To attract more attention you could write an article of your goods in the business and how it could be beneficial to other with a memorable logo on your website and/or the news paper. Creating a business card is also a smart thing to do. Lets say if you are out in the community and you might see a couple of people who don’t know anything about your business then you’ll have cards to hip them on the types of stuff your company produces.

Competition is also another factor that you have to worry about. First you would want to gather your competition intelligence and use them upon him or her. By now you should now how they are running there business and how they are selling their merchandise so you now have to make sure that you create a unique selling proposition to make your ads and other materials stand out from the competition. Always keep up with different brand, because branding is one of the main attractions. Make sure that your brands are going to be better and/or lesser than the competition also come up with do’s and don’ts to watch out for failure and if success then use an e-book to promote your business.

If you are trying to be a business person now days you would probably have problems especially if your trying to start up a small business because of how the economy has changed. It would be hard for a small business to compete with a multi billion dollar company because of the cost of the merchandise and then depending on how your company is going to sell it, a small business would have to charge higher than the larger ones therefore people would rather shop at the larger company to get the same stuff just cheaper. In this case you would see more and more companies with going out of business signs and everything half off.

Being in business marketing can be a big chip on your shoulders if you do not come with a successful plan to survive in the industry. You have lots of obstacles to face in order to become a good entrepreneur and a well around business man. I’m pretty sure if you want to be in business marketing and if you follow all of the given procedures then you will become a successor in this line of labor.

Anglo-Saxon's

1. In the story Anglo-Saxon's of Beowulf it was a exciting piece of literature. I liked it because it had lots of leaders and warriors and that's what I classify myself as. It starts of with Shield the son of Sheaf who took on many enemies and their chair and terrified many other warriors. then Shield had a son sent by {as they say} to comfort the people and keep them form fear. Grain was his name.

Grain ruled a long time after his fathers death, and he also had a son who's name was the great Healfdene. he was a fierce battler who ruled for quite some time. He had kids and his son Hrothgar becomes king of Danes; he won many battles . His friends and family obeyed him and his childhood friends became his warriors but he had a problem when Grendel came along.

This is the part that stuck out to me the most because when Grendel came along he just terrorised the place. He had started taking the kings men and killing them. This went on for about 12 years. Hrothgar was broken he didn't no what to do and that's what caught my attention because the king does not suppose to show his warriors and Danes that he is hurting he suppose to be the strongest one. He even started calling on to the devil for help, they forgot about God, But Hydelac's a warrior heard about Grendel's doings and Beowulf came to fix the problem.

In Anglo-Saxon culture and literature, to be a hero was to be a warrior. A hero had to be strong, intelligent, and courageous. Warriors had to be willing to face any odds, and fight to the death for their glory and people. In Beowulf, the Anglo-Saxon hero is well defined by the actions of Beowulf. It is obvious that Beowulf is the quintessential hero. His strength and courage are not comparable, and he is much more humble (and honorable) than many of the corrupt warriors around him. Beowulf displays his great strength time after time. Whether he is fighting sea monsters, Grendel's mother, or a horrible fire-breathing dragon.

2. Because Beowulf showed that he was strong, courageous, and was willing to go up against anyone or anything. "The helmet and armor were quickly loosed from the strong man". "Holy God, out of kindness, has sent this man to us to save us from Grendel's terror.I shall give treasuresto that brave manfor his impetuous courage".

3. The Anglo-Saxon hero possessed many traits which heroes today possess. They were strong, intelligent, tactful, courageous, and willing to sacrifice all for glory and their people."And now I shall, alone, fight Grendel. I ask you, lord of the Danes, protector of this people, for only one favor:that you refuse me not, fair friend of the people,do not refuse those who have come so far the chance to cleanse Herot". He's saying that he wants to take on this beast and the only thing he don't want the king to do is stop him from killing the monster to protect the people. As if the soldiers of our world would say to the government about war on terrorist.

4. It was as if Beowulf didn't want to fight back in his last battle. The only thing that he did was hold his shield out as if he couldn't or wouldn't draw his sword and defend himself. It was kind of sad to see Beowulf go out like that because he always went out in a battle giving a hundred and ten percent but not in the last it was like he just gave up.
Despite his wounds.( "He knew well he'd seen the last of this world's joys, that he'd numbered his last day".) He left his soilders behind to do as he had to become the ones that everyone is affraid of and to protect their people. The people mourned for a while but they also gave him his praise."Thus the Geatsmourned their great lord, saying he was, among this world's kings, the mildest, the gentlest, the kindest to his people, and the most eagerfor eternal fame".

In December 1170 rage against his old friend Henry brought a death wish on Thomas, but the wish did not intend to kill this bishop. But the most positive effect of this was on the mideval Church's power was the cultural unity. The church continued to be the center of learning.

Jhon who was vicious but strongly backed up by the pope, but was forced to sign the document. This signing was a defeat for central papal power.

1d. The Black Death was another blow to feudalism, besides the growth of cities and the hundred years war was the black death. This struck England in 1348-1349, the disease, highly contagious and spreadby fleas from infected animals reduced the nations population by a third. The Black Death came in three forms, the bubonic, pneumonic, and septicemic. Each different form of plague killed people in a vicious way. All forms were caused by a bacterium called Yersinia pestis.

2.The knight was a cool person though so strong and brave he was also smart. He wore onlysimple cloths and his habergeon. " He was a truly perfect, noble knight. But now, to tell you all of his array,His steeds were good".

The Squire was the son of the knight and was a lover and a lively bachelor. He was twenty years of age and always stayed fresh as if he was the month of May."Courteous he, and humble, willing and able and carved before his father at the table".

The Prioress who also is called a nun. She was so holy she would almost cry when a rat was caught in a rat trap dispite if it was living or not."That she would weep if she but saw a mouse
Caught in a trap, whether it were dead or bled".

The Monk was a manly man he loved to do stuff that envolved outside activites." Hunting was his sport;A manly man, to be an abbot able"; hunting was his sport;A manly man, to be an abbot able

The cook was the person who prepared the meals for the campers and it was good. "To boil the chickens with the marrow-bones and For sweet blanc-mange, he made it with the best".

The physician looked after the people and was a fine doctor by just using natural science and the study of astrological signs. " He cared for and saved a patient many times by natural science and studying astrological signs".

The Parson was a good man of religion he was poor morally but rich holy in his thoughts. "And this metaphor he added thereunto -That, if gold would rust, what shall iron do?For if the priest be foul, in whom we trust,No wonder that a layman thinks of lust"?

The Plowman was also there and he was a great worker and loved his job but loved God most. "
Living in peace and perfect charity. He loved God most, and that with his whole heart At all times, whether it was easy or hard, And next , his neighbour, even as himself ".

Not one word spoke he more than was necessary. He who'd studied philosophy".

The WIFE of BATH was skillful at making clothes and was also deaf. "At making clothes she had a skillful hand and In company well could she laugh and chat. The remedies of love she knew, perchance, For of that art she'd learned".

The PARDONER was a man who loudly sang and a very strong and courageous voice. "
Loudly he sang "Come hither, love, to me," The summoner added a strong bass to his song;
No horn ever sounded half so strong".

The A HABERDASHER and a CARPENTER, an ARRAS-MAKER, DYER, and WEAVER were like in a fraternity on how the way they dressed and stayed together. " Clothed in the same livery,
All of one solemn, great fraternity.Freshly and new their gear, and well adorned it was".

3. From the Canterbury I have read about the Parson. He was a very kind hearted person who always put GOD first. He helped those who needed it and wasnt even welthy at all. He was poor but religiously he was the most richest person in spirit. He liked making up metaphors and his favorite was if gold would rust, what shall iron do?For if the priest be foul, in whom we trust,
No wonder that a layman thinks of lust?

4.They still had to serve a king, the king had to provide food for the poor or peasants, and everything that involved somthing of the country the king had to know about. This explains why the parson and the others were so poor. He and the rest had to work so much for really no pay and then had to turn around and pay what they have earned to give it all back to the king. That why the parson said he was rich holy in his thoughts.

The Restoration

1. The Glorious Revolution or the Bloodless Revolution. Was the restoration of Charles II in 1660. When he met with misgivings by many Englishmen who suspected the Stuarts of Roman Catholic and absolutist leanings. When he died his brother James II stepped up and most English people were utterly opposed to James, just as most most Americans today would be violently upset if a proclaimed communist were to become president. The Roman Catholics caused disasters and were trying to hand over the country to the Pope. In 1688 that's when the bloodless revolution was accomplished.

I think that the bloodless revolution was important because they didn't have anyone that was king or queen trying to hurt or bring trouble to the people of England. Every since the bloodless revolution England rulers have been, at least nominally Anglicans. In the gradual process by which practical power shifted from the monarch to Parliament.

2. Satire- Is a way to make fun of society by using stupidity and or ridiculous methods on life.Examples of satire are; the Simpson's, family guy, the boondocks and scary movie.

3. The Modest Proposal is about how the parents and children were walking around the kingdom begging for different stuff so they were called the beggers. But then Jonathan wanted to prevent the youngsters from growing up and being what there parents are, and to make them become more useful to the community. This is a type of satire because it making fun of society and the people in it. It's talking down on the parents and children of how they were sort of a problem to the community.

4.From the Journal of the Plague Year was a terrible disease. People were dying back to back from the parents to even the children. Their body, sweat, and clothes were all contagious." In these walks I had many dismal scenes before my eyes", in particular people were falling dead in the middle of the streets and terrible screechings of woman and kids would cry out loud and scream death death death and no one would seem surprised if they died or not.

5.The most important thing to people who lived in these times were to get away of try to escape from the plague. If someone could try to head to another town to stop themselves from receiving the disease then they would try before its to late! " I remember one citizen who having broken out of his house or thereabout, and went along the road to Islington", were he got to an inn and asked for lodging for one night because the plague had not reached much that way.
